Mercator hired Advisors from London to give real estate ratings

Žiga Debeljak, who is planning the sales of real estate worth 500 million EUR, hired a global real estate advisory company Cushman & Wakefield.
 

A day after announcing 9 month results of our biggest Slovene merchandiser Mercator [MELR 170,00 0,00%], they announced the commencement of a long planned project of monetization of real estates. An Advisory contract has been signed with a global real estate company Cushman & Wakefield from London.
 

The project is to be finalized by 2013. They intend to get 500 million EUR inspite the fact that only a couple of years ago their real estates in Slovenia and Croatia were worth a billion and a half, according to their calculations. The money will be spent for reducing the debt.
