Statistical data on construction permits for buildings

19th August 2011 – In the second quarter this year, 1.018 building permits were issued. All the buildings comprise of slightly more than 439.000 m2, 17 % less than in the second quarter of 2010. The surface of planned apartments is to be smaller by 8 %, the surface of planned, non residential buildings by 26 %. 68 % of apartments are planned in residential buildings, 28 % of surfaces are intended for buildings of general social importance, and a little less than 28 % is intended for industrial buildings and warehouses.
With the building permits issued, 1.279 apartments are to  be built,  that is by 4 % more than in second quarter of  2010; the majority of  the apartments  are planned in new buildings – new built constructions 99 %.
